Nashville, TN (January 11, 2013) Grammy® nominated, artist Sheri Jones-Moffett is off to a big start with her new single, “SHINE”.    Jones-Moffett, the soul-stirring lead singer of the number one gospel song, Encourage Yourself, written by music icon Donald Lawrence, is positioned to soar to the top of the charts with her latest vocal delivery.

Her first album, Renewed, earned her a much-deserved Grammy® nomination.  This current project, produced by Grammy® award winner Myron Butler is expected to raise the bar even higher and deliver gospel music at its best.

Recorded LIVE in Sheri’s hometown of Memphis TN, “SHINE” is the first single from Jones-Moffett’s sophomore album, Power and Authority: Live in Memphis. Life has been a true teacher for Sheri, learning to not allow unpleasant circumstances to alter the true meaning and purpose for her life.  As Moffett sings, “Opposition, contradiction tries it’s best to get in your way.  Don’t let it tell you what you can’t do, what you have inside of you is already great”, With a heart to encourage and inspire Sheri rallies her fans to evaluate their decisions and choose to embrace the light that shines brightly within them and SHINE.
